Registration is open for the 2018 Fall Summit, taking place from Oct. 31 – Nov. 2 in San Diego at the Omni San Diego Hotel. This three-day conference coincides with CHIME’s CIO Fall Forum, and for the first time AEHIT and CHIME members will have the opportunity to rub shoulders at after-hours events, CHIME’s Thursday evening reception and concert, and Friday’s Most Wired awards ceremony.

Kicking off the conference on Wednesday, Oct. 31, attendees will enjoy an opening keynote and group activity, with a reception to follow. Over dinner, connect and network with your peers in healthcare technology leadership. At last year’s Fall Summit, AEHIT attendees partnered with AEHIS and AEHIA members for an access node scavenger hunt. Attendees grouped together and fanned out across the conference center, looking for rogue access points that contained words that, when combined, formed a phrase. Expect an engaging and collaborative event partnered with our sister associations.

Thursday, November 2 is a day full of education from members, experts and Foundation partners. Kicking off the AEHIT Fall Summit’s morning of education are presentations such as “What if JP Morgan and Amazon Delivered Healthcare”, and “EHR in the Cloud – A Success Story.” Following more education sessions and the AEHIT Awards ceremony and a lunch alongside AEHIS and AEHIA members, members will hear success stories and best practices for deploying Office 365 at scale, and hear from experts about AEHIT members’ role in solving cybersecurity challenges that many organizations face. As the evening ends, AEHIT members are invited to join CHIME, AEHIS and AEHIA members for a joint reception with drinks, dinner and a band playing timeless classics.

On Friday morning, the conference concludes with a joint breakfast for all attendees of the Fall Forum and Fall Summits at the nearby Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina Hotel. AEHIT members are encouraged to attend the Most Wired awards ceremony and the closing keynote following breakfast, where they’ll enjoy a closing ceremony designed for all CHIME associations.

The AEHIT Fall Summit Planning Committee continues to work hard finalizing speakers and activities for members attending the summit. AEHIT will provide additional information on specific speakers as it becomes available over the new few months; stay tuned for more announcements regarding our 2018 Fall Forum!
